Anybody can sell you a boring power strip but this power strip looks like a work of art and is extremely useful for multiple plugs. I have one and my wife has one and I am expecting to buy more as my power needs increase. It looks good on any desk and you can always extend it by plugging more modules into the model with power cord. I have one ******* into the wall and my wife uses the enclosed sticky strips to put it under her desk.
I bought one of these a while back for my desk at work, and bought this one for use at home. The only thing I'd change is if the wallplug were one of those flat ones, since my outlet is right behind my bed and I'd like to not have to leave the bed as far from the wall. I love that it comes with a little mounting plate, and the cube shape means that I can plug in whatever I need without it blocking the other outlets. The dual usb plugs built in mean I don't need to have a AC to USB wall wart on hand all the time. <3
